During my time at The Charles Group, I helped spearhead a pivotal collaboration with Birkenstock, overseeing the brand's first recovery-centric campaign. The primary objective was to position Birkenstock as the premier recovery solution for runners. Leveraging the narratives of ultramarathoners Arden Young and Scott Jurek, we strategically integrated their stories across Birkenstock's digital channels and advertising platforms. Our visuals accentuated the symbiotic relationship between the human body and iconic Birkenstock footbed, reinforcing the campaign's central message: the human body is inherently designed for running, and Birkenstock is purposefully engineered for recovery.
